3 STEPS TO RESILIENCE
This is an NRF Foundations Manual that walks practitioners and families through a sequence of the tools used in each of the 3 steps. The purpose of each tool and a simple script is provided. Assessment tools are introduced for each step that can provide baseline data and be used for progress monitoring.
The NRF’s 3 assessment steps follow the metaphor of a tree.
- The roots model the 24 hour sleep/wake cycle.
- The trunk of the tree models developmental assessment of the quality of engagement.
- The branches model an individualized approach to assessing and tracking functional behaviors of
brain networks.
All handouts can be printed in unlimited quantity with a yearly subscription. A PDF of the Manual can be downloaded and printed.
An interactive manual comes with the yearly subscription. This allows one to read the manual on a tablet, iPAD, laptop, or desktop. With a click of a link, each tool can be immediately downloaded and printed along with playing an introductory video. The manual will keep track of where you are in the process of reading, taking you back to where you left off when you return.
Pages for note taking are available at the end of each page
One can snapshot a tool or page that is particularly meaningful to you to share with a colleague or parent
